Letter to a Troubled Friend

Dearest confidante,

     Are things looking up in the world? I certainly hope so. It's time like these when we must look towards things that bring true joy. As for me I fair quite well. I have my scars here and there, but what is life without a challenge?

     As I write this letter to you I can't help but think of the things that were said in are last conversations. I too have uncertainty about many things. Can we really call what we have love?  We search for answers based on what is seen and what we are told, what we know and what we have experienced. But in the end, who is really right?

     Love is like a painting. There are basic rules but the technique and results of will never be the same as your fellow artists. Does this make your drawing wrong? No! Because love is not bound by its outward appearance alone, it is judged from the depths of the heart.

      I just want you to know that whether we are meant to be will never change the love I have for you. You're that part of life that gives hope and inspires the best in me. Stay true to you. Don't trouble yourself with loves meaning, it will all flow naturally. I tell you these things because I care, because you are my best friend for life and nothing will ever change that.
